Ben pulled Hazel aside so that Deco could not here them talk over the still pouring rain. When the two where done talking, Ben returned and Hazel started away from the city. "Where's he going?" Deco asked. "Away from here." Ben said before heading back towards Pripyat Ben lead them through the rain and to the ferris wheel, where they met with Beyra. "So, you two are back?" She said with out looking at them. "Where's your opponent?" "Buried back at the cottage  you sent us to." Ben was quick to answer. Beyra hrumphed and turned away. "Congratulations." She said.

       At the speech Beyra explained the rude awakening. As she spoke, she held the words over their heads. When one dog gathered the courage to open their mouth, Beyra shut it for them.         After that, everyone was silent and Beyra split them.         He woke to the feeling of a thousand knives stabbing him all over his body. He opened his eyes only to have them filled with slush-like raindrops. Nothing could describe the terrible feeling of the ice melting inside his eyeballs. It burned like fire, but chilled him to the core.         In that instant he lost all sanity, and lashed out at the world, blindly snapping and snarling. His teeth closed around something, only to rapidly spit it out, as it tasted like a moldy rug that had been defecated on by more dogs than he could count.  

   Absolute. Total. Utter. Darkness. Deco could see nothing. Not even the tip of his nose. He felt the impulse to run, bolt, escape, but he didn?t know where. He couldn?t see anything, so what good would running do. He ran anyways. Faster than he had ever ran before. He felt as if his feet were not even touching the ground.......        In the blink of an eye in was all over. Deco was laying on his side in a bed of straw, explaining the sensation of his feet not contacting with the ground. Thick curtains of rain fell over the city, drenching it's deserted streets. Deco slept under what remained of the now rain washed windows. He twitched his hind legs sporadically. Oblivious to the storm raging out side, he slept on. -------- Several dark specters trotted around him. Wisps of smokey tendrils spidered out from their bodies. When they spoke, their voices echoed oddly through space. They  said only one word, his name, repeated a thousand times.
